Best Cebu Dried Mangoes

Dried Mango products with the Tamarine variant

Okay I don’t really know what are the best Cebu Dried Mangoes but I can say that Cebu Dried Mangoes are the best!

I’ve already had more than one foreign relative or friend telling me that only Mangoes in Cebu can really hit the right spot in their tongue.

Cebu Dried Mangoes are one of Cebu’s favorite treats for tourists. When you come to Cebu the first thing your friends will be asking you is to either  bring them back some dried mangoes.

After Vince Ong interviewed me for his school project he left me with a nice token: some samples from his family’s business.

Cebu Dried Mangoes is the best form of “pasalubong” because it is affordable, dry, and ready to give. I remember seeing in grocery stores some Koreans who push a cart full of dried mangoes.

If you plan to buy it you can purchase the usual pack for about 40-50php.

I wonder why I find some dried mangoes in Cebu quite pricey, even a small pack cost around P50+

  10. The Photoblogger says:

branding and commercialization. When the demand is high and the supplies remain constant the price increases :)

Guimaras is Philippines’ mango capital right? Do they have dried mangoes also? I heard they have the sweetest mango.

@Guimaras is indeed the mango capital. as for price it really depends where you’re buying them.
