This started out as something my friends wanted to do for fun. But then I realized. It actually meant a lot more. To start with, don’t ask me where they found that rope for suicide, I don’t know where we can get one, period. Next, no, Velezians (Students from Velez College) are not pressured to commit suicide just because of exams. (Although suicide seems very tempting) And lastly, no one was hurt in the making of this picture.. (or at least no one was hurt severely)
The title up there is a contradictory statement to the marriage line: ’till death do us part’. This symbolizes the strong unending friendship that knows no bounds so that not even death can separate them. Some people would like to compare this kind of love or friendship to the relationship with their family, or their friends, or even relationship with God.
I personally, would like to thank a dear friend of mine, Ahia Rupert, who I consider as my brother, but sometimes were my twin brother, for encouraging me in my works in photography. He has been a great example to me and a role Model (Idol nako ni siya!) . And of course a new found friend.
