Fila Everest Trekking Shoes

Fila Everest Trekking Shoes

Fila Everest Trekking Shoes

Once upon a time I was walking around in Ayala with my family and then I came across a store that said “SALE”. And so I decided to go in check around a little . Upon further investigation I chanced upon the Fila Everest Trekking Shoes.

I knew I wanted, no, NEEDED the Fila Everest Trekking Shoes. I’m quite a nature lover myself and since I do live in the mountains I’ve had quite a few casualties with my footwear.

Music 21 at Makati with the Nyoks

Music 21 Sign

Music 21 Family KTV

Right after our delightful dinner in  Mang Inasal the gang decided to head on to Music 21 in Makati where we could express our inner emotions to some beautiful music (but when they started singing I knew a big mistake and now we’ve contributed to noise pollution in Manila). Unfortunately Billycoy could not join us for our shrieking singing session because he lived so far away.

We got the barkada package in Music 21 which was around 3K php. With it we had at least 3 hours, 3 pitchers of cocktail, 2 plates of Pica-pica food. I have to say it was totally worth it. There was something about stuffing ourselves in small black room with loud music that makes it so enjoyable.

Cai Giving it her best

Cai was obviously giving it her best as I know her emotions were oozing that night. I sense a love story coming up soon.

Single Ladies

Warning:

This place is definitely not for Claustrophobic, pregnant, sick persons or for persons who have a high tendency to have a heart attack or epileptic shocks (the blinking lights are sure to give you one).

Shout-out:

Dear Ada and Jeh jeh. Where are you guys? We weren’t able to hang out that night T__T oh well, I’m sure there’s always a next time. I miss you nyoks!!!!

Photoblogger Experiences Tech Tanod

April 25th, 2010

Tech Tanods Group Picture

After the first half of iBlog 6 in UP-Diliman I just had to grab the opportunity to join the Tech Tanods in ADMU. Tech Tanod is actually focused on teaching a class on the how-to’s in blogging in the hopes of bringing this knowledge to a new level such as making blogging as a career or even just starting his personal website.

Before we headed over to ADMU we dropped by Kebab Corner for lunch.

Some Chicken Meal with Rice with Margarine

Moussaka (dunno if it's the right spelling)

Strawberry shake

Spinach Dip

Ate Karla

The food was kinda okay but I found it too ordinary but as what Ate Karla said, if you’re Yogurt lover then the place will fascinate you. I did enjoy the Huge fan in the restaurant that had water secretions to cool the customer and I finally met THE Marocharim. (gosh his skin is so white, next time I meet him I must ask him what’s his secret)

After we ate we met Yoshke somewhere so that we could pick up the projector for the Tech Tanod session. It was also during that time that we felt like we needed to kidnap someone. So we kidnapped Yoshke and dragged him all the way to ADMU for the session.

Looking down (literally) after being kidnapped

Billycoy, ever heard of the upper lip and lower lip? He invented the third

And more Billycoy images to entertain his fans.

After the ride in the Junedmobile we entered the room for the session and there I met one of my idol Vloggers, Coy Caballes. Apparently blogging Mentor Winston and vlogging Idol Coy were going to be speakers for that day’s session. Winston spoke about making money online (there was something weird about hearing him discuss a certain topic completely in Filipino, it was something like a cross between Filipino, Economics, and Computer class) Then we heard from Coy. Though no matter how simple Coy’s vlogging techniques were, we still learned a lot from him especially the myths about Vlogging.

After the session we knew the whole Tech Tanod experience is not complete unless we have the MOST IMPORTANT part… camwhoring 101.

We tried to go back to UP-Diliman for the group shot for iBlog 6 but we were too late. Just when we thought the camwhoring was over, the Photobloggers brought out their tools. Here you can see Juned shooting with his tool.  Winston also takes out his monster with a 35mm f/1.8 to show of to the gang.

We also had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Mak mak and Mic Mic. Unfortunately the pictures of Mica were taken with Maki’s Heavenly 7D (someday ako rin).  To the folks at Tech Tanod thanks for the wonderful opportunity.

Mountain Adventure in Cantipla Stream

March 9th, 2010

The long trek from the Valley to the top

Somewhere 20 kilometers away from the city is a small village of Cantipla where life is simple and vegetables are only 15php per kilo.

Following the dirt road

Last Sunday I had the opportunity along with my classmates in Cebu Velez College Biology department, to go to Cantipla Stream. The original plan was actually to go to my uncle raul’s farm somewhere near Tabunan Forest but we were misled and therefore went all the way to the Cantipla stream.

The students eating lunch, taga-bukid style

We were there for studies in Ecology and specimen collection for our General entomology class.

I really enjoyed the experience as we were hiking our way to the place and it just released a part of me that I didn’t know I had.

I was so used to the city life of cars, electricity, internet and all that, that I forgot the joy of just going through life slowly and peacefully. When you are there you just forget everything about deadlines, meetings, works and stuff. You are filled with a sense of peace and harmony with the environment.

I particularly enjoyed the cool stream of water as I dipped my feet into it. My only regret was I forgot to take a picture of the stream was I was really enjoying the place.

We then headed home and we had to push the car because it lacked some LPG. That was the first time in my life that I also got dragged by the car when it started to run. lol.

Someday, if my time permits, I want to go back there and just have some kind of self retreat. The place is really refreshing. You could feel the stress just disappear from your body.
