CBS closes their Membership: Photoblogger’s Update

Last June 3, 2009, a quick short notice meeting was called for by The Photoblogger in Enovlink Training Center. The meeting concerned a great deal on the membership sector of Cebu Bloggers Society. After a quick discussion (and by quick I meant 2 hours). So it was finally decided that we will have to close the Membership of Cebu Bloggers Society for one whole month. We might start accepting applicants starting the month of July. By then the membership committee composed of pioneer bloggers, will be ready with the system to properly select our bloggers.

The Cebu Bloggers Society has been running for more than a year now. Composed of Cebu-Based bloggers both enthusiastic and competent, these bloggers are passionate about what they do. Over the one year period of Cebu Bloggers Society, they were in a growing phase. CBS recruited more and more members to fill in until the family became a significant number. Now they are moving into a new phase of development.

The Cebu Bloggers Society is a group of bloggers dedicated to promoting Cebu through Blogging. As we are becoming a bigger group, quality control is needed. Therefore, there was a need to close the membership temporarily. Once we develop the membership system, we will open it again to enthusiastic fellow bloggers in Cebu. This system will assure the competence, loyalty, and activeness of any blogger who wishes to be part of this wonderful group.
