For those seeking Venues in Cebu then the Rizal Public Library would be a good place to consider. It’s got a huge hall (sinulog hall) which is fully air conditioned and a nice stage to stand on. The down side is that there are no chairs yet.

You can rent the place for around 6000php for a few hours. To ask about the place you can just visit their main office in the Library and ask for a form. The form itself has a step by step process on how to reserve the venue.

The Library itself also is a museum with a cool collection of Paintings and works of art of the life in Cebu before. They also have books (duh) but I don’t know how the borrowing process works. Maybe I’ll try to drop by there some day and actually borrow books. (and here I was calling myself a bookworm without having borrowed a single book from our own City Library).

Nice Spacious halls, but not good for day use if you have plans of using LCD-Projectors with low lumens
