Guess what’s new in Ayala Cebu. Here’s a treat for those who are into the crepes and sweet stuff: CrePes and Cream in Ayala Cebu!
I was able to hear about this place when the owner of the fanchise of UCC cafe in Ayala Terraces told me that there will be a Crepes and Cream Cebu franchise and indeed there was.
This small stall is located in the third floor of Ayala Center Cebu just above the Timezone and beside Active Zone 3rd floor.

The Crepes and Cream stall was a small stall in the middle of a very hot area. I suppose Ayala gave them discount for their rent because the area was very hot. I was very interested however, with the way they made the Crepes. (yes, I’m igno like that) Of course I took pictures for you to see what I found interesting.

They cooked the crepe, nice and warm, not too thick nor too thin. It was just right.
Ice Cream on Crepe
Then they placed a scoop of Ice Cream on the Crepe, initially I thought the scoop was very small and they were very stingy. Apparently I didn’t take a shot of the “few” more scoops they added to the crepe and the whole thing was full! Yep, totally worth the 99php I spent.

Each of the Crepes were only 99 php.
Totally worth the cash!
The Crepe consisted of the Ice Cream, some syrup, almond flakes and Whipped cream. They also had an option where for 109php you can get to choose your Ice Cream flavor (FIC, Fruits in Ice Cream!), a topping of your choice (I strongly suggest almond flakes) and fruits in the Crepe with Syrup.

Since the Crepes and Cream is new like any shop, they have an awesome promo for the customers: Buy 2 get 1 free! You can get your promo stub if you just purchase one of their items. I took advantage of my promo stub and visited the place a second time around, this time with mom and dad.
Luckily for dad, they have a sugar free ice cream. This means the Sugar came free with the Ice Cream… JOKE! But seriously, plus points for using FIC. (premium Ice Cream brand). The free 1 crepe is a make your own crepe so I chose: Mango fruit, Mango Ice Cream, Caramel Syrup, with Almond Flakes. (FTW!)
Promo is until September 15, 2010 so grab the opportunity while you can. They opened last August 9, 2010.
TIPS
Take the opportunity to try out their delicious Ice Cream with different brands such as Selecta and oh-so-good FIC (Fruits in Ice Cream). For Diabetic customers you can avail of the sugar free something-coffee Ice cream (sorry I forgot the name) and also a sugar free milkshake for 140php.

Ayala is my favorite mall here in Cebu. I’ll be sure to drop by and have a taste of these wonderful delights.
