Globe WiMax in Cebu City Public Schools

The Cebu Bloggers in Globe Wimax's Launching

Recently Globe launched a campaign to educate Public school students on proper use of computer and the web. By providing free internet from WiMax for one year they are able to give the students a chance to have enhanced online education by means of supervision from a teacher.

Curious Students

The even marked the launching of free WiMax for 6 public schools in Cebu City and we happened to be in Zapatera Elementary School for the launch. The program is what we know as ISP or internet in Schools program.

Guada influencing the students

The Bloggers experienced the great speed of Globe WiMax. It actually works like a HUGE wireless router where users can get it within the 1 kilometer radius. For those who prefer no wires and would like subscribe for a monthly internet service at home then the Globe WiMax would be a very good option. Rabsin even subscribed for it already.
