Hawk Bags: A Photoblogger’s Choice

Travel Backpacks

Hawk Travel Blogger's bag

I’ve been searching for Travel Bags in Cebu for quite some time. I guess I’ve been complaining quite  a few times when there seems to be no bag that can fit my needs as a photoblogger and a somewhat travel blogger. I needed something that can fit my camera, one extra lens, a couple of my whatnots and my netbook. That was my dilemma until I saw this bag.

The Hawk Traveler’s Bag. It was the ultimate bag and it had all the things I needed. The bag was on sale but still priced around 3K php (ouch) but definitely worth the money. The problem with most of my Travel Bags is that they just can’t seem to fit in everything without looking like Santa’s Gift bag during peak season.

Usually I’m very rough with my bags and I’ve had my share of backpacks with ruined slings because I keep packing them up. This has all changed with this one powerful bag.

Hawk Travel Bag

Hawk Bag Component

The Bag has 3 compartments: (1) a padded c0mpartment for the laptop along with small pockets for memory cards, manuals, and CD’s, (2) one larger compartment for DSLRs, lenses and other stuff along with an accessories bag as seen in the picture below, (3) a front compartment for the little things like coins, USBs, cards etc. and (with lots of pockets to categorize my stuff :D )

Bag Covers

I also like how this bag keeps all my things nice and dry. When it rains I find the umbrella too small to fit in my body and my bag altogether, in fact when it rained during the Sinulog Festival Queen competition <– (click to see experience) I had to wear my backpack like a frontpack (is there such a thing?) just so that it won’t get wet. This backpack has a small compartment that hid the backpack-raincoat. I just had to pull it over the bag to keep it nice and dry :D

Bag Pockets

Bag Pockets

I love the internal bag pockets. Everyone knows in my family that for some reason I can’t go by without having to bring so many things. That applies to most of my stuff in the bag: pens, papers, small notebooks, and other stuff that I may find useful. Here’s a nice selection of pockets where I can organize place my stuff in.

Accessories bag

The additional accessories bag that is found in the second compartment is definitely an added plus point to the bag usefulness. It has a separate pouch which is attached to the set by Velcor and there’s a pouch for the mouse and charger.

Conclusion:

I love this bag and it’s been what I’ve been using in travel, school, casual hang outs, events and much more. In fact, people who see me everyday can’t seem to see me go by a day without this bag (except on Sundays). The added support sling on the shoulder sling is an added support so that it won’t get torn like all my other past backpacks (may they rest in pieces, i mean peace).

The padded protuberances at the back give a nice back support plus posterior ventilation. The internal padding also helps keep my babies safe. (no I’m not referring to human babies, who in their right mind would put babies in a backpack?!)

This is not my first hawk product as I’ve had only one other Hawk school bag too. I guess I was drawn to the fact that JOHN Prats endorsed this. I guess it’s JOHNN the Photoblogger’s turn… Right? Right?! :p

I love Hawk bags. period.

(I sit corrected, yes sit cuz I’m sitting as I’m corrected, John Lloyd did not endorse the bag)

A photoblogger in his twenties, Johnn’s advocacy is to share photos to the world. He loves freediving, birding, reading, eating, travelling and meeting new people. He is usually game for anything new and interesting. You can follow him on Twitter: @Photoblogger

I was also looking for a nice laptop bag, then I saw this hawk bag. Compare to Samsonite with the same size the Hawk bag was the best in all aspect, durability, well padded strap & interior, durable zipper & doble stiches. Not to mention the price, Samsonite 6k, Hawk bag 3k.
