Pilipinas, slow ba internet niyo?! Slow na!

Okay, so the Philippines isn’t very famous for their internet speed. In fact, for some who have gone abroad they all gush saying:
“It was internet Haven!”
“YouTube loads so fast!”
“The pages load so fast, I don’t even click them anymore!”
(okay so there may be something wrong with the last one)
So why is our internet slow today?
Here’s a very reliable source:
According to them the cause of slow internet speed:
1.Philippines and Singapore affected.
2.There is still internet, but slower connection
3.Problem is due to disruption in the underwater cables
4.The problem will be solved in around 24 hours, so it MIGHT be okay around Aug. 13
So conclusion, what can you do?
-Plurk
-Twitter
-Chat (but for YM, file sharing is a bit of a prob)
For a country that is strongly dependent on Internet, this is something quite alarming.
Hope our connection returns back to normal… which in other nations would be considered.. well abnormally slow.

It’s amazing very slow. I have been productive today because of slow internet connection. It’s a nationwide problem according to Globe’s CSR.
Note: I took me 10 minutes waiting this page to fully load. That’s how slow my connection is.
waaahhh. i can’t live without internet. so this insanity has got to stop! hahahaha. XD

I definitely agree because internet was so slow when I was in Cebu unlike what we have here in our country where the internet is lightning fast. Downloading a 800mb file usually take less than 30 minutes or an hour.
i think it’s over. we’re survived it. yay!
it is my first post on this website and to start with I would like to thank for the great information, which I found in this and all previous posts , it really helped me very much. I will definitely iclude this blog on my google reader
