RCTV: Revolutionized, Cebu to the World

Somewhere last Friday, Cebu’s very own local television: RCTV, launched their new website RCTV.com.ph and also their uber cool new logo in Crossroads Vudu. The first logo was okay, but the second logo, this new one is actually the bomb! Giving way to its revolutionized concept, I actually like the way it looks.

RCTV or Real Cebu Television is based on real people in television. From its humble growth as an “infotainment” channel to the powerful Media that it is now, RCTV has never forgotten its viewers thus the need to grow and develop for the viewers’ benefit. I remember watching the really brain-shrinking and at the same time brain-enhancing show: ISMOL TAYM with Budoy.
RCTV believed in the power of TV advertising in Cebu because they believe Cebuannos are not content with mere picture advertising. Even now, you can see the belief of RCTV in the Large Screen advertising that is everywhere in Cebu including those LCDs in Malls for advertising.
But RCTV is not content with just staying within the local channel. Cebu’s Pride in Media Television has now their very own connection to the world wide web through the RCTV website.
As RCTV continues to grow, I am getting excited to see what new shows they might offer, especially since Cebu is one treasure island with a wide variety of subjects to present such as food, guitars, tourist spots, events and more.
