Sports for Me?

Throwing a Pass

Since I was a kid I wasn’t really much of a sports loving person. I guess any interest in sports was derived from the passion of my siblings when it comes to sports.

I have an elder sister who was a captain of  the Volleyball team, three time gold medalist in figure skating, and an excellent swimmer. I have an elder brother who plays just about any sport he can get his hands into. I have a younger brother who is a soccer player and has been sent to Malaysia to represent the Philippine Team. Lastly, I have a younger sister who plays basketball. (What role do I play here?)

Personally I enjoy playing badminton and swimming. I love to swim when I was a kid. In fact, my dad told me that when I was 5 years old I jumped in the pool in Cebu Plaza without changing clothes. I wasn’t even careful with how deep the water was.

As I grew up I started to have an interest in watching games such as basketball, soccer, golf, boxing, and american football. It’s amazing what humans can think of. Imagine what people would spend to get  Boston Celtics tickets , Augusta National Golf Course Tickets, and Jersey Boys Tickets.

Probably one day when I’ll fly in to America I’ll try to watch those interesting games.
