Pay it Forward

Woot! A toblerone Photocontest! I was able to see this in Winston’s blog here and many others. Call me a freeloader but who can deny the power of something that is for free? So I might as well give it a shot using the photo above.

And of course, my picture has a story that goes with it.

This picture was taken on the Sinulog 2007 right after mass. I’ve seen this woman in Redemptorist Church a lot. Dressed in her shabby garment and carrying what is left of her material belongings in a plastic bag, she then proceeds to mass praising God for the blessings she has received.

After the mass, she then walks outside and a generous soul offered what this lonely woman needed: a friend. Let us not be fooled into thinking that gratitude be spread through mere material belongings but also with the small things we do such as smiling and greeting.

Pay it forward.

(but I would be extremely grateful if I get some free Chocolates. mmm..)
